Program:Compensable legal-intake messaging, sent on behalf of the law firm you asked to hear from ("the firm"). Messages relate to your inquiry and the firm's services — for example: follow-ups on your request for a consultation, links to documents such as a retainer agreement for signature, appointment confirmations and reminders, and requested information. These are informational messages about your matter; the program does not send promotional messages unrelated to your inquiry.
Opting in: you opt in by checking the SMS consent box on the firm's intake form, by texting the firm's number first, or by agreeing during a call. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of hiring the firm or receiving any service.
Message frequency varies based on your matter's activity. Message and data rates may apply — contact your carrier for details.
Opting out: reply STOPat any time (STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, and QUIT also work). You'll receive one final message confirming you're unsubscribed, and no further messages will be sent. You can also opt out by telling the voice assistant or the firm directly, in any words.
Help: reply HELP for assistance, or contact support@compensable.live.
Privacy: mobile phone numbers and SMS opt-in data and consent are not sold, shared, rented, or transferred to any third party or affiliate for their marketing or promotional purposes. See the Privacy Policy for how information is handled.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Compensable provides the messaging platform as the firm's service provider and is not a law firm; text messages do not create an attorney-client relationship with Compensable.
